If you have followed along for even just a short amount of time around here, you probably have already gathered that value and versatility are probably the two key characteristics that I look for in just about everything that I share. That is why I wanted to share this skirt! First of all, it is super affordable – it’s available directly from Shein for only $9! The same skirt is also available on Amazon in a bunch of other prints, but it costs a little more to go that route. (I will link both options throughout this post). What’s more, is that it can easily be transitioned from hot summer weather into cooler fall temps. Given its great price and affordability, I wanted to share some Shein skirt outfits from summer to fall.
1. With a Flowy Cami and Flip-Flops
I will start with the most summary of the summer looks. Unfortunately, I’m not sure we have too many days left here in Wisconsin to pull off an outfit like this. The fall temps came in full force last week, and although it has warmed up this week, the mornings and evenings have been getting pretty chilly. Either way, I still think this is a really cute look and I know that some of you live in warmer climates, so I still wanted to share this look.
2. With Sneakers and a Fitted Tank (or Bodysuit)
The next of my Shein skirt outfits is probably my favorite look on the list! It’s casual and comfy without looking frumpy. Just as a heads up, this tank is probably true-to-size. I ordered up a size because I wasn’t sure how the fit would be, and I wish I would have stuck with my normal size. I wanted a tighter fit and there is just a little too much material in the larger size for me.
3. With a Denim Jacket and a Fedora
I’ve been missing live music like crazy and this look makes me miss it even more! How perfect would this be for an end of summer/early fall concert? Oh well, hopefully next year! 🤞 I do think this look makes a great end of summer look regardless. The hat adds boho vibes to this Shein skirt outfit. The dark denim adds a layer of warmth for when the chill starts to come back into the air.
4. With a Crop Sweater and Booties
The last of the Shein skirt outfits that I will share is a look for cooler fall weather. I’ve had this sweater since last winter and even though it has a unique cut/fit, it is SO comfortable! It is cropped in the front and does show a bit of midriff when paired with this skirt. I will say that I typically don’t feel super comfortable showing off a lot of my stomach, but the way the skirt and sweater sit together is very flattering. The flowiness of the skirt disguises the problem lower abdominal area, while the cropped sweater lets some skin from the more toned upper abdominal area show.
As a reference, I am 5’6” and about 130 lbs. I typically wear a size small or medium in tops and a size 4 (or 27) in jeans. I went with a medium in the skirt and was happy with the way that it fits. Trying to figure out sizing can be one of the most frustrating parts about ordering online, so I just wanted to share that in case it is helpful!
I hope you’ve enjoyed these looks! As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, value and versatility are extremely important to me. Anytime I find an item that I’m excited about for a good price, I want to make it go as far as possible by creating multiple looks with items that are already in my closet. I recently shared a blog post showing how to wear one Amazon romper 6 different ways. Feel free to check that out if you are looking for more of how to wear one item multiple ways.
Thank you so much for reading! I hope it’s been helpful!
