Because the economy is in a tailspin right now, I have been making a conscious effort to spend less money and make the clothes that I have go further. I figure most people are in the same boat as I am most of the time regardless of what the economy is doing. Since making the most of what you have is the responsible thing to do on so many levels, I wanted to share these $25 Amazon paper bag pants 6 different ways!
1. Dressed up with a blazer
I wanted to start here because this is the only outfit that I actually got to wear out in public before our state took measures to promote social distancing. I seriously can’t wait to start wearing these pants again because they are so cute and comfy! This look was for a dinner out and I’m glad I got to wear them at least once before the whole country shut down!
2. Cool and Casual with a tank
There is a good chance that I won’t have a reason to wear these pants out in public again until after the weather has warmed up. For that reason, I want to be able to keep wearing these pants as the weather starts to warm up! A simple tank (or bodysuit) and some flip flops are a cute and casual way to do just that!
3. Covered and Casual with a denim jacket
If by some miracle I do get to wear these pants in public again before summer, the quick addition of a denim jacket will be the perfect option. I think this will also make for a good end of summer look as well since the colors are so neutral.
4. For a night out with a cami and heels
I honestly think this is my favorite look of all of them! Typically, I don’t wear a lot of black, but I went a little outside of my comfort zone on this one and I love the way it came out. I think this look would be perfect for a date night or a girls’ night out.
5. Classy and neutral with a lace top
The original reason I had bought these pants was because I was supposed to go to a work conference in California. The dress code at my work is super casual, so I was going to need some more elevated options to wear to the conference. I think this would have been the perfect outfit for a business dinner or drinks at the hotel bar.
6. Casual and classy with a floral crop
This was one of the first pairings that I made with these pants and I liked the look so much that I needed to get a photo of it ASAP. I never actually even had the chance to wear it out anywhere, but I do think that this is a really cute and versatile spring look.
