Summer tends to be my favorite season to dress for because here in Wisconsin there are very few climate limitations and you can basically wear whatever you want! Summers here are typically pretty mild and anything over 85 degrees is considered “HOT”! If you’ve ever lived in the South and are reading this you’re probably laughing to yourself and thinking “bless your heart”. But the nice thing about living in a milder climate in the summer is that style-wise, anything goes! We can wear long pants all summer long and not really think twice about it, but at the same time shorts and a tank are totally appropriate as well! Since there are so few limitations in the summertime and added layers are not a necessity like they are in the winter, summertime is the easiest season to dress affordably. To prove it to you, I rounded up 5 summer outfits for under $100 per look!
1. Cute and Casual Look from Old Navy
I will start here because when I decided that I wanted to publish this blog post, Old Navy was the first place I looked for outfit inspo and it did not disappoint. I have been eyeing this adorable top for a couple of weeks now, and while I haven’t bought it yet, I did want to share it! It would pair perfectly with the adorable espadrilles from Old Navy and a pair of white shorts (which you might even already have in your closet!)
This entire look comes in at a grand total of $94.98 (not including promo codes) at the time of publishing!
2. Comfy and Cute Look from Shein
Ok, I have to be honest. I have never actually purchased anything from Shein. I have bought something from them off of Amazon, but nothing directly from their site. After pulling together this blog post though, I definitely want to give them a try! They have a ton of super trendy items at very affordable prices. These shorts look incredibly comfy and the length looks really good too! What I like most about this look is that it is perfect for wearing around the house but also totally appropriate to wear out in public as well!
This entire look comes in at a grand total of $67.49 (not including promo codes) at the time of publishing!
3. Bold Boho Look from Target
I couldn’t write a blog post on summer outfits under $100 without including a look from Target! And how gorgeous is this dress?! Leave it to Target to make something like this available at an affordable price. I think that this dress is perfect to wear with sandals now. It will also make a really nice fall transition piece as well. If there’s one thing to know about me, it is that I am all about versatility!
This entire look comes in at a grand total of $98.68 (not including promo codes) at the time of publishing!
4. Comfy and Casual Look from Shein
Ok, the fact that I am sharing two looks from Shein without ever having shopped there myself should show how intrigued I am by the retailer! I love a good t-shirt dress + denim jacket look. I included some super affordable sneakers here, but you might already have a pair in your closet that you could pair with this comfy looking dress to save you even more dinero!
This entire look comes in at a grand total of $86.00 (not including promo codes) at the time of publishing!
5. Summertime Boho Look from Walmart
Did you know that Wal-mart sells Alex and Ani jewelry?! I did not until I was shopping on the internet to pull together this blog post. The beauty of this look is that you save so much elsewhere that you can splurge slightly for a quality necklace that you will be able to wear again and again.
This entire look comes in at a grand total of $64.96 (not including promo codes) at the time of publishing!
There they are – 5 summer outfits under $100! This was a fun post for me to round up for you and I really hope that you enjoyed it. I’m a firm believer that dressing well does not have to cost an arm and a leg. I hope that this proves it! While I have no problem splurging on staple pieces when it comes to trends, I certainly can’t afford to splurge on everything! I don’t think that most people can. If anything, I hope that this post has helped inspire you to dress well within your means!
Thank you so much for reading!
