It is no secret that I love Free People. I wrote an entire blog post about some of my favorite Free People items. There’s something about the free-spirited bohemian style that just sparks something in me. They do have some great items, but the costs are a little splurgy for me. That was why I was so excited when Chicwish reached out about a collaboration. After checking out their website, I realized that many of their items had the same boho vibes as Free People. The only difference is that Chicwish sells their items for half the price!
I had seen quite a few other bloggers and influencers posting and talking about Chicwish. To be honest, though, I never gave Chicwish a second thought or even checked out their website. Mainly because the other people posting about them had chosen items that, frankly, I just wouldn’t wear. Once I did check out their website, I realized just how vast their selection was!
If you are more of a preppy dresser, Chicwish offers a TON of items that I just know you will love. I will share a preppier look in a different blog post that is soon to come. For right now I wanted to talk a bit about the boho-inspired options that Chicwish Offers.
Lace Kimono
I am absolutely loving the lace kimono moment that is happening right now. I think that they are so pretty and will be the perfect end of summer/beginning of fall staple. They totally speak bohemian style and you can totally layer them with shorts or dresses or jeans. You could also dress them up with a nice blouse or a dress. Here is a more casual way that I styled my kimono. I wanted to show the same outfit with different shoes and accessories because I know that piece can make a big difference depending on where you want to wear the outfit.
Tie-Yoke Eyelet Top
There is something about a crisp, clean cotton top in the middle of summer that I can’t get enough of. Their weightlessness and light color make them perfect for warmer temps. When I saw the shoulder detail on this one, I fell in love with it! The tie-close yoke adds an extra statement and the flowy-ness of it makes it feel even lighter than any other cotton top. I again wanted to show a couple of ways to wear it. I personally LOVE the look with the distressed denim, but I know that the torn-up jeans are not appropriate for certain places or situations. That is why I also showed a simple look with frayed hem jeans and espadrille wedges.
*All Chicwish items were gifted to me, but all outfits and opinions are my own.
