If you follow along with me on Instagram, you know that Charlie and Grace Blogger Holiday Collection launched this past Sunday. This is actually something that has been in the works for a few months now. I am so excited that the time has finally come to share it with the world!
Each of us Charlie and Grace brand ambassadors got to choose an item to represent for the boutique. I chose this emerald green sweater for several reasons. I have been seeing distressed hem sweaters similar to this one all over the place and I think that they are adorable! The emerald color really speaks “holiday” to me, but I also think that it is a color that can transition nicely into the beginning of spring as well. Furthermore, versatility is SO important to me! I knew when I saw it that it could be dressed up or down and worn for many occasions.
Since the sweater is named after me (yes, you read that right! It is named the “Megan sweater”!), it is only right that I share a few different ways to wear it!
With skinny jeans and booties
I will start here because it was the first place my mind went to when I thought of what to pair with this sweater. Quite frankly though, it’s probably one of my least favorite looks here! Personally, I consistently try to push myself outside of my comfort zone in life in general and it is a concept that I carry into my personal style as well. I think the fact that my go-to is my least favorite look goes to show when you try things you wouldn’t normally, really great things can happen!
Off-the-Shoulder with Boyfriend Jeans
Emerald green and leopard print are currently one of my favorite combinations. I wanted to pair these shoes with this sweater in a casual way. I figured wearing boyfriend jeans would do the trick. If you are in a cooler climate like I am, the likelihood of realistically wearing these shoes from now until March is slim to none, but I wanted to share anyway for anyone who might be reading from a warmer place.
Dressed up with a skirt and booties
The embroidery on this skirt screams “Nordic Christmas” to me and the colors play so nicely off the sweater. If you are in a cooler climate like I am, just add a pair of tights for warmth and you will be all set! I could see this look being worn to a holiday party or even for a night out on the town (luxe ice domes, anyone?!)
Off-the-shoulder with white jeans
If you’re looking to carry your bralettes into winter, I think wearing them with sweaters off the shoulder is one really cute way to do that. Adding distressed denim to the mix helps amplify the casual vibes of the look. It’s hard to see in the picture, but I paired a pair of hoop earrings with this look for a fun and flirty weekend get-up.
With OTKs and white jeans
Over the knee boots and white jeans is one of my favorite pairings in winter. I love wearing light-neutrals! When sloppy snow and ice are covering the ground however, that can be difficult to do without getting your outfit all dirty. Over the knee boots are the perfect solution to that problem. Any slush or slop that you otherwise would have been concerned with splashing all over your pants is easily disguised by the boots! I also think over the knee boots can add a more elevated look to an otherwise casual outfit, as they do here.
I hope you have enjoyed this sweater as much as I have enjoyed rounding up these looks and sharing them with you! The Charlie and Grace Blogger Holiday Collection is limited edition and will not restock. If you see something you like, it’s better to scoop it up sooner rather than later! A few of the items have already sold out and the others are moving quickly. Remember that you can use code “MA15” to take 15% off your entire purchase. Also, 10% of all sales are donated to a local animal shelter! So when you shop with Charlie and Grace, you are shopping for good!
