Chicwish Longline Cardigan From Winter to Spring

It may be the middle of February and we may still have another month (at LEAST) of winter to get through, but I have been thinking spring lately. I even already purchased my first pair of shorts earlier this week! 😳 Since I am starting to think spring, I thought that I would start taking this Chicwish longline cardigan from winter to spring

*(For the record, this is the earliest in the year that I think I have ever bought a pair of shorts and it will probably be at least another 4 months before I can even wear them.  If you are curious about what pair of shorts were so good that I had to purchase them in February, they were these $15 denim shorts from one of my all-time favorite retailers. I haven’t received them yet, so I can’t attest to the quality or fit. I’m really hoping they work though because I have been wanting a pair like them for a while!)

With a Blanket Scarf and Booties

Since it is currently winter in Wisconsin, I am starting by sharing how I have been wearing this sweater all season.  Paired with the blanket scarf, this cardigan keeps me SUPER warm. I work in an office and I have a space heater at my desk that I turn on most days.  I wore this outfit to work and actually got hot and had to turn my space heater off! The pop of leopard in the purse adds a fun pattern-mixing moment when combined with the scarf, but the look can be completed with a solid color bag as well!

With Jeans and Pink Slides

This is one of the first ways that I styled this Chicwish longline cardigan when I first got it.  It is neutral enough to wear year-round. I feel like the pop of pink in the shoes does speak spring though! The straps in the cami can be shortened making it less low-cut and the jeans can be switched out for a non-holy option for a work-appropriate look for casual workplaces.

With an Embroidered Skirt and Booties

This is one of my favorite ways to wear this skirt and I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so that I can wear this outfit again!  The skirt fits true to size and is well worth its $18 price tag! By pairing the cardigan with a skirt and booties, you can enable yourself to show off a little leg even if the temps haven’t quite reached the 70’s and 80’s yet!

With a Striped Tank and Holey Jeans

I have been trying to add interest to my outfits lately by incorporating details like buttons and prints and this tank has both of them in one! When I got it, I immediately wanted to pair it with this cardigan because the colors play really nicely off of each other.  I think that the lighter colors in them both make for a good option for spring.

With a Striped Tank and White Jeans

If there is one outfit in this blog post that screams end of spring/early summer, it is this one!  The white jeans lighten up the look compared to the blue jeans that I showed above. The best part about this outfit is that it is extremely comfy!

Layered over All Black

I don’t wear a ton of black, but when I do, I tend to do it just like this – an all-black base something lighter colored layered over top. The strappy sandals add a fun and playful element.  To me, this is a cute and casual springtime look with an edge.

I hope you have enjoyed my take on the Chicwish longline cardigan. There is no shortage of cardigans in my closet, but this one is one of my favorites. I seriously wear the crap out of it and don’t intend to stop anytime soon! For more on the cardigan along with some other Chicwish finds, check out this blog post.

As always, thank you so much for reading!
