I have been wanting to round up some sleepwear/loungewear looks for a while now. There’s very little in this world that I love more than being able to stay in my pj’s all day. In fact, the introvert in me needs days like that occasionally to recoup and re-energize. Even though the chances of anyone seeing me when I’m in my PJs are slim to none, I still prefer to wear cozy clothes that I think are still cute. Since there is no better time than winter to stay cozied up inside, I figured now would be the perfect time to share some of my current pajamas and loungewear faves!
Velour Joggers and a Popcorn Sweater
I will start here because this is actually what I wore to ring in the new year. Some friends have been hosting a New Year’s Eve PJ party at their place for a few years now, and I thought that it was the perfect excuse to buy some velour joggers. It is so nice to be able to ring in the new year with some of the people whose company we enjoy most and then go home and crawl straight into bed.
Velour Joggers and a Leopard Print Tee
I love to wear cozy pants with a sweater to bed on frigid nights, but on nights that are a little milder, a t-shirt suffices. I actually really like this tee and wear it in public as well. It is lightweight and comfy enough to wear to bed though too!
Pink Striped PJ Set
I always ask for pajama sets on my Christmas list because it’s such an easy and giftable item. Also, as much as I love to dress cute for myself around the house, I will admit that it is hard to justify purchasing a bunch of cute outfits to sleep in that nobody but I will see. So, it goes on the Christmas list. I am never disappointed when I receive new jammies! My boyfriend’s aunt gave me this set and it is one of the comfiest sets I own. The material is soft and lightweight enough that they will be perfect as the weather warms up as well.
Thermal Top and Leggings
This has been one of my favorite go-to loungewear outfits for a while now. I am a huge fan of a good bralette. They are supportive enough to wear out in public, yet comfy enough to wear to sleep. Not to mention the cuteness factor. My favorite part about this lounge outfit is that you can go barefoot when the weather is warmer or add a pair of cozy socks or slippers when the temps drop.Â
Amazon Slippers
I wanted to spotlight these slippers because they are two of my current favorite pairs and they are both super affordable. I know that there are many higher-end options out there, but considering I only wear these around the house, I see no point in spending big bucks on them. If I wanted something that I could wear outside to get the mail or to my car, I would have no problem spending a little more on something with better soles, but for all intents and purposes, these not only get the job done, they are also super cozy.
I hope you enjoy jammies as much as I do! Even if you are unlike me and need a reason to dress thoughtfully, you can always have a hygge day if you are looking for an excuse to get some new pajamas. For more info about hygge, check out the blog post write up I did on it. Either way, I did try and share some pieces here that are versatile enough to wear while lounging around at home or out and about running errands or doing whatever.Â
