It is officially fall here in Wisconsin and the temperatures also reflect that this week! If you have been following along around here for a while, you know that I love to wear and share outfits that are completed by some type of higher heeled shoe. Whether it be boots with a three-inch heel or strappy heeled sandals, it is common for me to share looks that are elevated (literally) by the shoe option. I didn’t name the blog “Small Town in Stilettos” for nothing, folks!
As much as I will always love a high heel, I have to be honest and say that I just haven’t been wearing them nearly as much this year as I typically do. With this pandemic upheaving life as we know it, there have been very few occasions for me to wear my favorite shoe option. Because I like to keep it real around here and share things everyone else might have a slight interest in, I thought that I would round up some cute, comfy, and cozy fall outfits. You know what type of look we’re going for here – something you’d wear over to a friend or family member’s house or out to run errands perhaps. You still want to feel cute, of course, but don’t want to be too over the top. Here are three of those types of looks that I’m currently wearing:
1. Cape Sweater with Shiny Leggings and Mules
I have shared this cape sweater quite a bit – so much so that I own it in two colors! You know you really love something when you own it in multiples! When you pair it with comfy leggings and mules you have a quick and simple yet elevated look that you could wear just about anywhere!
2. Mixed Prints with a Neutral Cardigan
Striped patterns are some of my favorites to mix with others so why not layer a striped tee with a plaid blanket scarf for fall?! Layer a neutral-colored cardigan over top and pair it all with some basic faux leather or shiny leggings and you have an easy, warm and cozy fall outfit!
3. Orange Slouchy Cardigan with Jeans and Booties
This cardigan sweater has been one of my favorites since I got it last year. If you follow along over on Instagram, you know that I’ve shared it numerous times at this point! I had included it in my fall sweater picks from Chicwish last year, and I still stand by it (and all the sweaters on that list for that matter)! Adding a plaid blanket scarf and pairing it with jeans and booties and you have yourself a cute and effortlessly cozy outfit!
And there they all are friends! Three of my go-to cute, comfy, and cozy fall outfits! I hope you’ve enjoyed them. You could wear any of these outfits for a variety of occasions, so I would be surprised if there was no way to incorporate any of these looks into your closet and life!
