If you’ve been following along with me for a few months, you know that I’ve been sharing quite a bit from Chicwish. They honestly weren’t a retailer that was really on my radar before I started this whole blogging thing. After I started blogging, I noticed quite a few other bloggers and influencers sharing items from Chicwish. I thought that everything was really cute, but I still didn’t pay too much mind to it. It wasn’t until Chicwish reached out to me over the summer about sending me some items to share that I even shopped their site. (I wrote two blog posts on those items that you can read here and here)
I have to say, I am so glad that I took them up on their offer! Just about everything that I have received from them, I have been thoroughly impressed by. Their price points are moderate – slightly higher than the fast fashion you might find at stores like Forever 21 or Walmart. The quality is what sets them apart for me. Although their prices are a little higher than some other retailers that I shop, I would say that you get what you pay for in most instances. I have especially been impressed with their sweaters and cardigans. When they reached out to me again at the end of the summer to share some pieces from their fall collection, it was a no-brainer for me.
Here are my picks for my favorite fall finds from Chicwish:
Cozy Oversized Cardigan
Of all my favorite fall finds from Chicwish, this one probably tops the list for me. I know that I will be wearing it all fall and winter long. Knowing how the weather here in Wisconsin can be, I will probably be wearing it well into spring as well. I have styled it here a couple of ways for the transition into fall, but I think that it will also be perfect paired with long sleeves and a scarf in the winter months as well. It is so incredibly cozy. I can already see myself wearing it for a day of hygge-ing as well! (For more on hygge, check out this blog post that I wrote earlier this year)
Teddy Jacket
I had been dying to get my hands on a teddy jacket all year last year and I never made it happen. Chicwish made my teddy jacket dreams come true with this one though and now I am all set for cooler weather! This one is medium weight and slightly oversized. To be completely honest, I won’t be wearing this on frigid Wisconsin winter days, which is why I am calling it one of my favorite fall finds from Chicwish. It will work perfectly for when the temps are in the ’30s and ’40s (these are considered very mild temperatures in the winter here in Wisconsin). For extra warmth, you can totally layer a scarf with, but it is also very cute on its own without a scarf.
White Bralette
I’m going to be completely honest here and say that I was a little disappointed in this bralette. The fit just wasn’t quite right for me. I had to loosen the straps all the way down for it to work for me. Compared to most, I have a smaller chest so I really don’t require a ton of support. I’m not sure that this bralette would work at all for someone who needs more support than I do. (In the defense of Chicwish, I believe they label this a crop top. So I’m not entirely sure that It was intended to be as supportive as a bralette).
What I do love this piece for is to layer under a low cut tank for extra coverage. I’ve seen a lot of people doing that with the Adella bralette from Free People. Quite frankly, I like this bralette better than the Free People one for that purpose. It is structured a little better, so if you pair it with the right tank, it is always poking out in a way that is obvious that you want it to be poking out.
Neutral Leopard Sweater
This sweater is so soft and cozy and I cannot recommend it enough! It takes a lot for me to long for cooler weather during the summertime because Wisconsin summers are so short and mild, but this sweater makes me excited for cooler fall temps! A couple weeks ago I was heading to an outdoor event that took place during the evening and into the night and I knew it might get a little chilly. I had grabbed this sweater in case I needed an extra layer. My three-year-old niece saw my carrying and asked what it was. I told her it was a sweater and she responded with, “Oh, it’s cute!” So there you have it! Young children are some of the most honest people on the planet. So if it gets my nieces stamp of approval, it must be good!
