Lounge And Athleisure Looks From Your Closet

Ever since this Coronavirus pandemic started causing major ramifications here in the US, I have really been tightening my purse strings. I have been limiting my spending and have been much more intentional about the purchases that I do make. I am fortunate enough to be able to work from home and at this point, my job doesn’t seem to be in jeopardy. It would be foolish to think that I am invincible though. There’s no telling what kind of effect this virus could continue to have on our health or our economy. If you’re anything like me, you have been changing from one set of PJs to the next most days and not even bothering to get dressed at all during this physical social distancing thing. Because it is what I have been wearing most days lately, I thought that I would share some lounge and athleisure looks with items that you probably already have in your own closet!

1. Black Leggings and Waffle Knit Top

I will start here because who doesn’t have a pair of black leggings?! I’d also be surprised if you don’t own a waffle knit top of some sort. This one is a little different than most, but it could totally be switched out for a henley or button-front top. Bralettes have been a God-send for me lately and they have been the only type of bra I’ve been wearing. They are so comfortable that I even wear them to bed!

2. One-Piece Romper/Jumpsuit

I have been seeing these types of jumpsuits everywhere for the last couple of years and it’s no surprise why. They are super cute and flatter just about anybody and they are also SO comfortable! I actually have a very similar grey version of this and I am thinking about getting a shorts version of it as well. It is that good! If you don’t already have one, you probably won’t regret getting one.

3. Active Set and Cardigan

I hate to break it to you, but if your activewear is uncomfortable, you’re wearing the wrong activewear. This set is one of my faves because it withstands the gym but it also comfy enough to wear as loungewear. I even wear it to bed occasionally (not after I’ve worked out in it, of course)! When I have to run an errand, I simply add a cropped tee and jean jacket and switch out the slippers for actual shoes.

I hope that these lounge and athleisure looks have been relevant to you! Maybe it has even inspired a cute and comfy look with something that you already have in your closet. Hopefully, things will go back to a new normal very soon and we can start actually getting dressed again. In the meantime, it has been nice to slow down and stay comfy.

Thank you so much for reading!
