My Current Favorite Accessories

No outfit is complete without the perfect accessories, right? The perfectly paired bracelet or scarf can take a good outfit and make it great! The best part about accessories is that pairing them with an older article of clothing that you might be a little tired of can completely update it and make you love it again. And if you shop like I do, a new pair of earrings tend to be cheaper than a new blouse or dress. Accessories tend to be a little more timeless and versatile than clothing as well. Thus, updating a few accessories can be a very cost-effective way of staying on trend without breaking the bank.

That is why I thought that I’d share with you a few of my recent jewelry and accessory purchases that I am loving at the moment!

Cheap Sunglasses

If you are anything like me, you don’t like paying more than $5 for a pair of sunglasses because they just wind up at the bottom of your purse getting scratched up anyways. That is why I LOVE this pair. They are only $4, but what they lack in cost, they certainly don’t lack in style! I got them from Discovery Clothing, which is a store that I have been shopping a lot lately. If you haven’t heard about them, I did a blog post on tips for shopping there that you can read here. One tip that I didn’t include in that post is that every time i shop there, I buy at least one new pair of sunglasses 😉

Statement Earrings

The SUGARFIX by BaubleBar display at Target gets me every time I’m there! All the jewelry is just so pretty! I picked this pair up over the holidays to wear to a work Christmas party and I’m so glad that I did. Their neutral color has made them perfect for dressing up or dressing down. If you’d like an example of how to wear them, I included them in one of my other blog posts that you can read here.

Glitzy Bracelet

I have been wanting a bracelet like this for a while, but I definitely didn’t want to pay $2000+ for one with real diamonds. However, I did want one that was decent quality and wasn’t overly cheapy looking. I found what I was looking for in this bracelet! I’ve had it for about a month now and I am really liking it. It’s perfect because it can be dressed up or dressed down. And the gold tone with the crystals makes it perfect to pair with other silver or gold jewelry.

Horoscope Bracelet

Ok, I have to admit that I am totally a sucker for astrology! While I don’t read my horoscope habitually, I totally buy into my Zodiac sign. I’m a Taurus and everything they say about the bull resonates so much with me. That is why when I saw this bracelet, I had to have it!

Handmade Stud Earrings

If you had the chance to read my Valentine’s Day finds blog post, you know that I am all about supporting small artisans and local craft makers. These earrings were gifted to me by BillingsCrafts and really dig them! They come in a three pack and are covered in printed leather. The print is bold enough to make a little bit of a statement, but the colors are neutral enough to go with just about anything!

Tortoise Earrings

Tortoise earrings are all the rage right now and this is the pair that I own and love. I had bought them on Black Friday for $18. If I’m being honest, I wouldn’t say that they are quite worth that. I was in spend mode because I was out Black Friday shopping, but if I had been thinking clearly, I probably wouldn’t have paid more than 12-13 for them. Here is another similar option that is much closer to the price that I would feel comfortable paying.

Agate Bracelet

I’ve been talking about this bracelet a lot on Instagram. I don’t remember how I discovered Kinsley Armelle, but I love their jewelry. I think that all of their designs are so cute! They are owned and operated in Texas and I have been very impressed with the quality of their products. Their prices aren’t outrageous, but they are a little more expensive than what I would normally pay. It is totally worth it tough. You are definitely paying for quality.

BONUS: Lightweight Blanket Scarves – I also show two scarves in the images that are pastel in color and lightweight making them the perfect winter to spring transition scarves. I found the exact two shown on clearance and they are not available anymore, but Amazon does have very similar options. Here is a grey and pink plaid scarf and here is a solid light pink blanket scarf.
