My Current Free People Favorites

Most days I am a pretty budget conscious shopper.  I’ve never been someone who is concerned with the name of the brand that I’m wearing. I know that for every $200 pair of jeans, there is a $30 pair somewhere out there that fits just as well.  I’m totally someone who gets a huge thrill out of finding a great deal on an item I find on the clearance rack. Free People is one brand, however, that I have no problem spending more than I typically would for a piece. I’ve built up a little bit of a collection of Free People pieces because I shop their brand so often.  So, I thought that I would share some of my current Free People favorites.

1. Adella Bralette

Bralette, Top, Jeans

I’ll start here because this is the bralette that it seems like everyone has! It comes in 15+ colors and is the perfect addition to any low-cut top or cut-off tee. It’s so comfortable, you could wear it to bed.  I only wish that they made a version with some light padding for a little extra support.

2. Catalina Thermal Top

This is another basic that I’ve seen lots of others wearing.  It’s made out of super lightweight, breathable material. Even though we are going into the warmer weather months, this thermal is still completely relevant. I can already see myself wearing it with a pair of shorts to a bonfire or campfire.

3. Rainbow Picnic Plaid Shirt

Flowy tops are my favorite!! I don’t own a ton of plaid button downs only because I find that they either tend to be more fitted or boxy looking.  This top is neither of those! It has a high low cut and a raw bottom hem. I think it is the perfect spin on a classic!

4. Wythe Felt Hat

So I had been on the hunt for a hat like this for a few months. I’ll be honest, initially, I didn’t intend on spending more than $20 or $30 dollars for one.  I found one on Amazon for $20 that I bought and liked, but when I saw this one, I fell love with it! The color (dove grey), fit and style are exactly what I was looking for.  It’s a little more costly than the Amazon hat, but I know that it will get enough wears to more than make up for the cost.

5. Maddox Flare Jeans

I saved the best for last! I know that flare jeans are not everyone’s cup of tea, but I personally LOVE them!  The wider the flare the better, and these puppies are the widest flare I have found yet. This is an older style and only a few retailers still carry them.  I’d snag them now if you want them!

For me, Free People offers the perfect combination of style, selection, quality, and merchandising to make me more willing to loosen up my purse string and splurge a little.  I love their product offering. It is expansive, yet refined enough that I know what I’m going to get when I shop with them. The Freepeople.com site is straightforward and easy to shop. Their brick and mortar stores are gorgeous.  The way that they display their merchandise always inspires me to try new looks and trends that I otherwise wouldn’t have thought of for myself. I wanted to share my current Free People favorites, but you will definitely continue to see me shopping and sharing what I love from this brand!
