I have been seeing this trendy bold striped sweater all over Instagram lately and I think that it is adorable! This exact one comes in 3 different colorways. Even though the colors in them play nicely into fall, I think that the sweater can easily be carried into spring as well. It is lightweight with a slightly loose-knit, so while it is warm enough for cooler fall and winter temps, it won’t be too heavy for spring when the temperatures start to warm up a bit. Because I think the sweater is so trendy and versatile, I decided to show you four ways that you can wear it!
With Blue Jeans and Tan Booties
This was my go-to outfit for this sweater. I love block heel booties because they add height while remaining comfortable – I wear them any chance I get! The nude color makes them the perfect neutral shoe to pair with just about anything! I am actually on the hunt for a good black pair as well. Pairing the transparent bag with this sweater adds another trendy pop while also incorporating function.
With Black Distressed Jeans and Leopard Booties
Ok, I have a confession. I bought these jeans two or three years ago off the clearance rack for about $5. I had been on the hunt for a pair of knee-slit black jeans. These didn’t originally have the slits in the knees, so I figured that for $5, I could make them myself. If you look closely, I’m sure you will notice that the slits are kind of awkwardly positioned. I still wear the jeans all the time anyway because I feel like the slits add some interest. I do need to invest in a purposely distressed pair though! Pairing this sweater with the black jeans carries in the black stripes on the sleeves and tones them down, making them look a little less bold.
With Distressed Hem White jeans and Nude Booties
Of all the looks here, this one is probably my favorite. It is comfy, casual, and cute – my favorite way to dress! I think this look shows one way that you could carry this sweater into the beginning of spring as well. The pastel pinks in the sweater combined with the white jeans and light neutral booties make for a light and airy look that would play perfectly into any springtime vibe.
With white jeans an over the knee boots
It is no secret that I have been a fan of over the knee boots ever since they came on the scene a few years ago! OTKs make wearing white pants in winter SO much easier! The height of the shaft protects any snow, salt, or slop that would otherwise get on the bottom of your pants. Pairing the sweater with white jeans and over-the-knee boots could make for an airy fall look or a winter to spring transition outfit.
I hope that you have enjoyed all of these ways to wear this super trendy bold striped sweater. It is on prime, and because it is looser fitting, it would make a great sweater if you are still looking for something to wear for Thanksgiving! I would love to know which of these outfits you like best! Feel free to leave a comment here or shoot me a message on Instagram letting me know which one you like best!
As always, thank you so much for reading!
